And he sought to see Jesus who He was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature Luke 19:3(KJV).

Zacchaeus was a chief tax collector (Custom officer )and was very rich. He had enriched himself with bribes taken from innocent importers and exporters and even from smugglers. He collected money from people much more than the Government approved. History of bribery and corruption had dated Long ago but it has now been modernized.

It matters where you got your wealth from. Is it through legitimate means or through crooked means? Let your conscience speak to you.
The day came that Zacchaeus met with the Saviour of the world, Jesus Christ who transformed his life from a bribe taker to a disciple and to a saint. Those who desire and determine to seek the Saviour Jesus Christ will find Him and they would receive forgiveness of their sins no matter what they have done in the past.

The crowd would have hindered him from meeting with Jesus Christ if he (Zacchaeus )had not acted wisely. Relatives, friends, co-workers and love of the world (spirit of materialism ),may have been a hindrance to your salvation from sin and freedom from the bondage of the world, I plead with you to resist those hindrances outrightly and gain your freedom from the bondage of sin and the world today.

It is foolishness for one to gain the whole world and looses his soul in hell fire. It is good that you celebrate the coming Christmas with Jesus Christ, the giver of true and meaningful life and overall, secure Eternal life when you close your eyes in death.

Pray this prayer: Lord, have mercy on me and forgive me all crimes I have committed and godless (not acknowledging God or the deity )life I have lived in the past.
